Was a little worried cause I stopped following the thread @ page 17 yesterday.

at this thread becoming a food thread
Gotta talk about something to pass the time until the deadline passes.
If I want fast mexican food I'll go to the hole in the wall a block from my house...where the mexican guy who looks like he just got out of the pen is loading up the tortillas with generous helpings of beef hot off the grill and piling on the fresh avacado, onions, jalepenos and tomatoes. Top it off with some of thier kick ass green sauce and it's go time.
after all the thing with the spurs is:
If Manu/Timmy/Tony get hurt, it basically is over.
If Splitter/Blair/Bonner go down we have no real chance too...even smallball wont save us.
We cant do anything to replace the first 3, but with Diaw we could overcome an injury to one of the later guys (not saying he is as good as Splitter, but we at least would keep the depth and Diaw is good for a nice game here and there too).
We could always start a food thread in the Spurs Forum.
Seriously, have you watched Dejuan Blair play defense recently? A slothful unmotivated Diaw would still be light years ahead of him.
Still have my fingers crossed Diaw clears waivers, which I don't take to be a given...at all. Even if he isn't in great shape and isn't the player he once was, I think he'd bring energy and enthusiasm if he finds himself in a meaningful role on good team. I'm not going to excuse any professional from slacking off, but I do understand that he was in a frustrating situation with Charlotte, and he's been a solid contributor to good teams before. Let's hope he gets a chance to prove he can do it here.

Why is this a food thread?????????????????????
It belongs in a different forum.
So what is the delay on Diaw anyway, clearing wavers, and what makes everyone so sure it is a given the Spurs will take him?
As for food? Laughing at all the hoopla about Taco Cabana. I gave up on them when that New York firm bought them out, ruined the food, and franchised them out.
There are a thousand more taco places here ten times better than they are now.
I remember the very first Taco Cabana on the corner of San Pedro and Hildebrand where the Dairy Queen used to be, that was a good place to eat, but they quickly went down hill after being bought out.
The Diaw thread turning into a food thread is rather appropriate, tbh.
A certain Mr. Blair would disagree, it seems.
And is it any wonder SA it one of the fattest cities in the country? Just reading this thread is making me hungry, and I just ate.
goddam you'all some fat mother ers
The fabulous Los Barrios took over a closed Dairy Queen.Actually it was a Dairy Queen that had closed down.
that honestly made me LOL.
Could go for one of these right now, tbh

Every time I come back to SA its a trip to the Jacala on West Ave for combo plate #3. Been the same for 30 years and is still the best in town.
now we know why the Mavs released Williams:
Marc Stein @ESPNSteinLine
Close
RT @espn_macmahon: RT @ESPNDallas: Kelenna Azubuike to sign w/Mavericks - http://es.pn/GSoFMD (TWO-YEAR MIN. DEAL, TEAM OPTION IN YEAR 2)
^I was wondering what happened to Kelenna Azubuike a couple months ago. Could be a good signing.
Mavs were never a Diaw threat. KA had some good moments; interested to see if he has fully recovered from injury.
Marc Stein @ESPNSteinLine
Azubuike will start in D-League this weekend immediately after signing w/Mavs after missing most of last two seasons because of knee injury
I was also reading that Nocioni is considering returning to Caja Laboral
I was just wondering about Buke the other day. I loved him before his injury. Nice low-risk, decent reward pick-up by Dallas.
I'm not going to pull a "" but Boris Diaw's latest whereabouts is ... interesting.
What's the earliest he can sign? Have we narrowed it down to the hour yet?
