I was looking to get a new VCR. Is Quasar a good brand? They are much less expensive than Sony Betamax. I'm concerned about the quality though.

get one of those new cam corders and film your tv screen when you play your old tapes. put the recordings on a flash drive, transfer them to your computer, and burn a dvd.
