I think you need to re-watch the game and double check your grades.

Agreed. Another big part, and it's somewhat synonymous, is the "knowledge of Pop". Jackson knows what to expect. He knows the pecking order and is a willing participant.

Diaw has TP as a buffer/tutor to speed up his learning curve. Don't think over the years he hasn't heard everything about Pop from his best friend.
I might have to add another player, if Mills can come in right away (even if he doesn't have a large role). Did Brett Brown run similar sets in Australia? 3 late season acquisitions that already know the system would be awesome!!!

Blair did a decent job on Nowitzki, but Dirk will always be able to shoot over him. At least Blair forced him into some tough shots.
I agree that Manu looked better on defense than in the previous games. As for Jackson, it's as he wants to prove to the whole basketball world that he can be a good teamplayer. His court vision and patience on offense have been nothing but impressive so far.
That's Blair's problem even when he plays good position defense the offensive player just shoots over him. That's why he goes for steals so much.

Kobe is not synonymous with pressure.

And insinuating that he should make love to him. You do realize that it would make him a ... Laker lover!?

    Sorry just can't do it.

Most impressive part of the game: Mahinmi playing 34 minutes with only 2 fouls.

Yeah, this gets tricky...I think some are assuming he "makes love to pressure" in that he is having sex (perhaps angrily) to the concept of pressure instead of making love in the presence of pressure. It's an easy misunderstanding. I'm glad its all cleared up now.

awsome, i have to say jackson's perfect fit so far hasn't been a surprise to me, don't see him throwing tantrooms, when he's playing on a winning team for a championship, where he won one already before, while being a fan favorite, not to mention he's also doing it for a new contract

also, considering the amount of work he had to do as number one option on ty teams in recent years, now he's just standing behind three point line and chucking shots on the spurs, its just to easy for him, tbqh

All in all, Jackson is playing a winning brand of basketball that I didn't know he had in him.
    What ?

It's almost a given now that the step back jumper in the lane is going to get the front of the rim. Duncan's shot gets flatter and flatter as he gets older. If he had even a little bit of arch he might be deadly.
