4th game in 5 nights = no legs for threes. I wouldn't expect them to shoot them too well tomorrow, or most of April, tbh.
Hopefully they'll get their strokes back by the playoffs.

Glad to see the D is improving but the offense in the 4th was awful
Solid win against a team who's been rolling the past 3-4 weeks or so....![]()
I saw people in this thread begging the Spurs to keep Phoenix below 100 and thought "there must be a vbookie on this or something."
Nope. This is merely a reflection of how spoiled we've become over the years
Most teams (especially the 9, 10, 11 spots in the West) would be begging for a win and a playoff spot.
A 'W' just isn't enough for us these days![]()
TP talking to Sean "I'm working on my Sam Cassell shot."
All I said was the game wasn't over, there was something like 2 mins left with a 9 point lead. The Suns have the ability to shoot 3s at a high pace and Brown was already hot. I hardly consider that panicking.
This Spurs team continues to amaze me! If they continue to find ways to win when their best offensive weapon, the 3-ball, is not falling I begin to have even higher hopes for a championship run.
I also like how Manu is rounding into form, Tim is looking spry, and Tony continues to "make love to pressure".
Parker on Diaw: "He's a great passer -- sometimes we gotta scream at him to shoot the ball -- but he's doing great."
Do you think there's any hope Pop will go to Jax/Diaw instead in the playoffs? Naw, I'm wishing for the impossible, aren't I?![]()
I cling to the hope of Memphis game 1. But if he falters Pop will have a shorter rope now that there are some other options.
I'm one of them, but anyway it's always good to be in a roll that the spurs are in.

Just sat for rest
Didn't catch the game... why no SJax?
As hot as the Suns were tonight, their extra "tire change" did-them-in tonight. They sat Nash 1 1/2 - 2 minutes too long in the 4th.
per jeff mcdonald:
@jeffMcdonald No Jackson tonight after he allegedly threw chair at Coach Pop's face following last night's team meeting. Details to come soon
Or just one page since there's a post about it every dozen posts, wad
Diaw with a +14 (highest of the game) tonight: Spurs had the lead prior to Diaw going to the bench after 6 min in the 1st half; after finally coming back into the game late 3rd quarter, most of the 4th for 12 minutes, Spurs regained and held the lead. Really impressed with his post defense tonight, although he still has trouble when he is at a stand still in the paint and has to slide back to his man who receives a pass (received a couple of fouls in those type of defensive scenarios).
Parker post game interviewed with Sean and Land regarding Boris...."He is playing great, he is a great passer but sometimes we scream at him to take the open shots" lol
Phoenix announcers saw Duncan telling Diaw to "shoot the ball!" after he passed to Leonard for the jam.
No . That wasn't a troll tweet. Uh oh.
Edit: Haha
I don't know about that. He still has flashes of him coming back into form but he's still not right. I noticed he's never getting to the FT line anymore (I don't know how much of it is from the refs not calling anything or if it's because Manu's just chucking up shots and not driving anymore.)I also like how Manu is rounding into form
No, actually, you said "we are done" with about 3 min to go in the third quarter. I picked you up on it at the time. You do it every game whenever we have a stretch of poor play.
Also, by the fourth quarter Brown was not hot. He was hot in the first and second quarters, did very little in the second half. That's the kind of thing I'm referring to when I say read the pulse of the game.
I hope Tiago plays tomorrow.
