Our coach called a few good plays but his roitations suck and he is overplaying Kobe, Pua and Drew too many minutes. Glad to see Mcroberts play but no need to sit Drew that long.

Lol. Kobe overplays himself. Brown has absolutely no authority over him. He wants Jabbar (or at the very least Jordan) bad. Real bad. And he isn't gonna let a coach with as limited and unimpressive a resume as Mike Brown keep him from climbing up the all-time scoring list.

But Bynum is one of the most immature dudes in the league. He will not be taking kindly to the benching.
Sessions is NOT the problem.
No Bench, coaching rotations, Kobe's shot selection, Brown playing his star too many minutes Drew's and lack of 3 point shooting too much to overcome.
He makes $4mill to coach not kowtow to Kobe or anyone else ...
bynum was benched because he chucked that 3. That was Kobe's shot to throw up there. Brown is trying to pass on the message that he aint nothin to with. Well, at least Jim Buss aint nothin to f with. You can bet your ass that sitting Kobe and then Bynum in the 4th qt of consecutive games wasn MB's call. Jim Buss aint happy w this clown group of guys. He wants them all to know that there is a new sheriff in town. Whether that leads anywhere is to be seen but Kobe aint going anywhere w/ his 56 milli he is getting over the next 2 seasons.
This Laker team was 27-14 on the road last season. Slightly better at home (30-11). There's no doubt they have talent, but the coaching has been abysmal and the bench atrocious. They're still under .500 on the road this season.
I told y'all Phil was going to be the piece you missed the most. Mike Brown is bad.
Lakers fault for not knowing how to develop talent (Bynum aside) and thinking they can always solve every personnel problem through trades or free agency.
You guys still have a shot at the West, though. Size and defense matters in the post-season, and I think Brown's grind it out style will prove effective.
Sessions generated 7 points on "4 shots". Should have been 9 if he didnt clank those 2 freethrows. He isnt the problem. Have you seen Blake wiggling his ass up the court? I think Blake's goal at this point is to stay above -5 every game. Be better than that and lakers can win.

I think Mike is doing a fine job. It takes a while to get some of these guys' attention. They are too accustomed to being "stars". Every Lakers player is treated like a star. Mike Brown ain't having that at ude on the court. Dude knows how to win regular season games (learned from the best).
