That he simply couldn't carry a team when Shaq left, further proving he was just a role player back then...

Do I need to spell it out for you?
Role player in '97 & '98 probably. But we are not talking about 97-98

How many times has Duncan missed the playoffs? It's hard to remember, quite frankly.

Worst loss (one game) v. team with best record (1 seed) losing handidly to an 8 seed that tanked to play you (4 losses). Which was more embarrasing? Now that , you dig?

Now you're back singing that song after you quit like Kobe in a game 7. Your silence already acknowledged

    Daddy: 3

    Kobe: 2

the tired old bag Duncan: 4

Ain't nothing you can do to take it back neither.

    Duncan > Kobe

and it ain't even close son. that is a non-biased, outsider opinion who doesn't like either one of them. however anyone with a brain who understands the game of basketball and doesn't get all of their opinions from watching SportsCenter will know that Duncan is the better player, has had the better career, and has done more for his team in one championship season than Kobe has done for his team in his entire career.

Duncan was the LEGIT, CLEAR CUT team leader of the Spurs for two out of their three NBA championships. He was "that dude" during their first two championships in 2003 and 2005, and then became a role player for their third championship in 2007 whenever both Parker and Manu took over the leadership role.

Kobe on the other hand has never once in his career been the clear cut team leader of the Lakers during their le runs. not ONCE. He has always been a glorified role player and in recent years a "forced" co-leader AT BEST. Kobe was blessed to be thrown onto the Lakers in arguably the best market for professional basketball where not only the media fell in love with him, but the league did as well. Shaq was the team leader when he was there and Kobe completely the bed during the three and a half years without Shaq until Gasol's arrival, etc..

Son, I want your honest, unbiased opinion on a related, highly important matter. Do the Lakers win the 2004 championship if you replace Kobe with T-Mac? God bless, son.
