fumbles the dribble pretty often though
Dude has great court vision and passes the ball extremely well.
fumbles the dribble pretty often though
Probably has the second best courtvision on the team behind Manu tbh.
Thats probably why we was drafted as a 2 guard. The PF thing didn't really start until several years into his NBA career.
I am impressed thus far with his passing..he has also shown some active hands up to this point as well..solid addition
He was actually drafted as a point guard. Those Hawks had Jason Terry and they realized he was a shooting guard in a point guard's body. The idea behind drafting Diaw was to have him defend shooting guards while playing PG on offense, with JET doing the opposite.
Point-Forward...The guy's got great court vision. I never realized how good his court vision was until now...
have to admit fatass diaw has impressed me, underrated pickup, tbh
He should start shooting it more though.
And so it begins...
We have SOOO much firepower that we don't need diaw to shoot that much.
Last game I thought he shot enough, actually.
he's mediocre either way
great passer, but can't defend, can't shoot, can't handle the ball, etc, etc
that was shooting? I thought he threw his pair of nikes at the rim
hes a great passer
Diaw's passing and (so far) post-defense have been so good that even if he didn't take another shot this year, he'd still be more valuable in the playoffs than Bonner or Blair.
I've noticed that the last few games, he has great court vision and a great passer. Not to mention, has a very high basketball IQ. He's what Manu Ginobili would be if he were a PF.
We should have signed Ronny Turiaf, hes the defender we need![]()
Box score fan tbh.
I like what he brings. Hope he takes bonners minutes and that bonner gets spot minutes for match up reasons.
funny on the Dan Patrick show today, Steve Nash was on, and Dan asked him "What if LeBron pony up some money and said come in and make a run with us", and then Nash responded "can I stay in his guesthouse"... then immediately said Boris Diaw is staying in Tony Parker's guesthouse and then "did we even have a chance to get you, driving his Ferrari"
Sounds like Nash really wanted Diaw back with the Suns.
The bit is within the final 1/3 of this audio clip: http://danpatrick.directv.com.edgesu...012_stream.mp3
best passer on the team tbh.
Amazing how easily he's fit in. I hope he sticks around awhile.
He's too fat to be a point forward... he can't bring the ball up the court....
