I don't really see this as a nickname as much as I see it as something that someone yells when he makes a big play. Kinda like when Bill Schoening says "and that's a manu tres" or "Red rocket with the splashdown" for Kawhi it would be simply "KAWHIBUNGA"

I believe bill land or someone called him kaboom. I like that best because it sounds good when he dunks or hits a three.

I absolutely love Kawhibunga, but it's not really a nickname. Just something you yell when he does awesome things, as he is prone to do.

My friend gave him a simple nickname which is Uncle Kawhi because after he shuts down guys they scream uncle.
Riverside Wrecker because he destroys the compe ion.
what about "Obsidian"? Aztecs used obsidian to for weapons. It's really sharp and awesome, like Kawhi.

I always call out what he reminds me of when he:
1.) stays with his man even when the opponent doesn't know he's there
2.) reaches out and takes from his opponent when it seems he' not close
3.) takes the very life from his opponent by denying him his way of life
4.) extracts fear from his opponent
5.) has the appearance of 'other worldly'
6.) has the hair to match
7.) has the cold hearted non emotional stare of, "your dead-meat buddy, I can do this all day"
..........and finally he carries the persona that demands a knickname without a prefix. He's not THE .............. Anything. He's simply PREDATOR !!!
