Was there a time when I said MB didn't suck? I just don't put that much stock into NBA coaches...they have the least amount of impact on any of the major sports. Yet you seem to believe that if some other HC were in his shoes they would do a better job. Only Soccer coaches are more useless during games, so I'm not buying it.

That being said, one of the only times I can recall a coach really doing stupid was Pop last year. His decision to play Manu in a meaningless game, followed by playing Bonner against the Grizz was epically stupid and detrimental to the team.

What's really great is that the Lakers could still be a threat in the West this season, but Kobe is literally shooting the team out of le contention. If he slowed his roll and actually went to an inside-out offense, the Lakers would probably be as good or better than the Spurs, but their glorified superstar is now ruining any chance they have of being a serious contender. He's just too stupid and too egomaniacal to not destroy a team loaded with talent.
