Anchorman is hilarious... one scene at a time.
I saw it in theaters and got really tired of it really fast. I thought Rudd, Carrell, and Koechner were pretty hilarious all the way through, but the Ron Burgundy shtick got old and I didn't love the movie as a result. In the years since, however, I've caught it on cable and have probably watched the whole thing several times in dribs and drabs, which made the movie a of a lot funnier.
I'm not concerned.
They all must be back for this to be another succes.

Anchorman is one of the funniest movies of all time. A sequel is nice but it would have been better if it had happened 4 or 5 years ago. They waited to long for a sequel.
