I think it's more accurate to say Dumb and Dumber is the best slapstick comedy of all time.
I could make that concession.
I tend to rate Rushmore pretty high as well, which is anything but slapstick.
It's actually close with Dumb and Dumber and Airplane! for me. Airplane! has some of the best slapstick one liners in movie history.
By far the best comedy of all time. Can't wait.

I am frickin excited about this and the sequel to Anchorman. Good news coming out of a ty Hollywood.
Only thing that worries me is these assholes are ruining the Three Stooges. i hope to God they don't bring weak trash like that into this sequel. It better be like part one.

I'd put movies like Dumb and Dumber, Airplane, Naked Gun, etc. on a level of their own.
My next tier includes the best of the newer ones, such as Old School and Wedding Crashers.
Wedding Crashers might be the best comedy of the last decade but it has nothing on the classics.

The Hangover is way better than Billy Madison, The Wedding Crashers, and Tommy Boy.
The best part of Billy Madison was the "may Hod have mercy on your soul" speech. It was mostly mediocre, like all of Adam Sandler's movies.
