I wouldn't say Tim because he doesn't strike me as a guy who is strong enough to back down guys in the post like Tim. Tim is one of the greatest post up players to ever play the game and also he has great footwork. Two things Davis doesn't have. I see Davis being a great player more in the mold of Garnett-Bosh hybrid.

He's got a good frame. He'll put on 30 lbs easy.

We'll see. I think some guys just can't put on weight that easily and are just not built like that. I heard the same argument about KG many years ago that if he put on weight he would be just like Tim. I have been watching Tim since his freshman year at WF and he doesn't remind me of him at all. He has potential to be great player but the comparisons are stupid since his game is not similar to a young Duncan. He plays more like a young KG then a Duncan.

Difference is, Tim was smart enough to stay 4 years and get the seasoning in..which made him the best PF in history. Davis will leave after this year.

Newcastle is way off. Davis would easily be a number one pick next season. I can tell he hardly watches college basketball.

Davis is somewhere in between Chandler/Noah and Duncan/KG. Better than the former and better than the latter. He's the best defensive prospect in the draft while Cody Zeller is the best offensive prospect in the draft. He abused Kentucky while in foul trouble most of the game.

No telling until you see the new freshman come along can you say whether or not Davis would go #1 Next Year. Davis would be expected to make a substantial jump in his offensive game sop re year (which I doubt will happen regardless) or people would quickly label him overrated.

He needs to leave college. He was Player of the Year, won a championship. He will be the top pick. Nothing more to prove at this level. He will have some growing pains early on, but in 3-4 years he will start to stand out. He will be around 7'0" 240 physically.

Showed no offense whatsoever in the Final Four. I would be very disappointed to be getting Mutombo as the #1 pick.

Bobcats getting Davis would be a disaster

Actually he showed a lot of offense against Louisville which was one of the best defensive teams in the country. Who do you think did the scoring when MKG was in foul trouble? He had 18 pts, 14 rebounds.

He did struggle offensively today, but Withey is a great defender and Kansas plays great defense in general. He still dominated defensively.

It's actually a pretty good draft but how would you know when you don't watch college basketball.

A disaster? You keep putting your foot in your mouth. At the least he will be a very good player in this league. Maybe not be a superstar like KG or Duncan, but will be very good.

I don't necessarily think Davis should stay in school, but he's gonna have a decent sized learning curve with his current build and discipline. He gives up a lot of offensive rebounds the way he over-zealously goes for a lot of blocks.

I agree he will have growing pains for a couple of seasons with his size and overall game.

Win player of the year, defensive player of the year, Final Four MOP along with your team winning the national championship... don't see how Davis could stay in school. Nothing left to prove, accomplished everything a college basketball player could aim for in his freshman year. He's projected as the #1 pick in the draft. And suggesting Duncan was "smart to stay four years" is an unfair comparison because college basketball is much different now than in the mid 90s. Not nearly as many freshmen and even sop res leaving for the draft. And I don't believe Wake Forest won a championship during that time. Davis will be the #1 pick in the draft, whether he's physically ready for the NBA and/or still not yet polished enough offensively, he has to go.

He'll gain some weight and get in the 240 range eventually. Seems like he has the shoulders and frame to carry more weight. I think there are a combination of NBA players he reminds me of. The Duncan comparison has more to do with personality and on court demeanor. His defensive game does have a lot of similarities to Camby. And his length/skills combination and probably ceiling does fit KG. I think he's legit. And I think he'll get stronger and will improve his offensive skill and will eventually become a star player in the NBA. Not sure if he'll be an uber superstar franchise player. But I expect really good things from him at the next level.

Eh we'll see. At the moment he is a one-dimensional player & that doesn't bold well for him. Didn't you state yourself he will pan out in 3-4 years?

He's only 19. In 3-4 years he will be 22-23. He will be a versatile player and at least a very good player.

No current prospect would help the Bobcats too much. They're awful from top to bottom.

Irving (last years draft) would be perfect

It's hilarious seeing all these guys announce for the pros with obvious major flaws in their games.
