Live crowds in big cities cheer heels. It's been the trend for the past few years. It's the "cool" thing to do. WWE doesn't know how to adjust to that and take control back of the crowds. I actually think it's good for wrestling. The days of "babyface" vs. "heel" needs to die. It's not what the crowd wants anymore. The WWE has been so clueless about giving the crowd what they want, hence the John Cena character getting boo'ed. When the face of your company is getting boo'ed out of arenas, and the WWE does nothing to adjust to that, then they are obviously doing something wrong. When ratings are half of what they were 10 years ago, then they are obviously doing something wrong. That doesn't mean that they don't do other things right. The company obviously still makes a ton of money in many different ways. I understand why they switched to TV-PG, but they have yet to find a balance to still attract the old school wrestling crowd. Bringing back the Rock and Lesnar were good steps to try and achieve that. And hopefully they have a plan finally to let Cena get squashed for a while. That's the only way the crowd will get back on his side. Five years of "super Cena" has taken a toll on the fans.
