u kidding? houses got destroyed and im sure there are people dead, there were already injuries reported in the very beginning. im looking at flattened houses on the news and people are posting all kinds of pics on facebook of the damage. local high school had part of the roof torn off.

Oh, sorry. I couldn't keep track of all the cities they kept mentioning, and didn't know Arlington had actually gotten hit so badly.

That was one of the things we hated about living in McKinney ... all the gotdamned tornadoes every spring. The town never got hit but plenty of nearby areas did. Glad you're OK.

Anyone ever been in one? One time in the 90s my neighborhood got hit and I thought I was I ed when I was in the center of the house and could feel the air rushing out from the other rooms through the center and up to the attic, but I only lost some roof tiles and had a tree pulled down.

I used to live in Kansas, and back some years ago there was a huge one that came through, I could see it from the bedroom window it was so close. My aunt "Em" and my dog and I made our way out to the shelter, but I didn't quite make it. The dog stayed with me and we rode it out in the house. I had some weird dreams about witches and midgets and a lion with a rusty .
