One thing that has gone under the radar is having Jack to guard Pierce... Pierce is a muscle guy and RJ would be his by now...

Even with the ty no calls still looking pretty good. I was worried with the blowout last night we would lack intensity we still do on defense hopefully we pick it up in the 2nd half. Although it did get better their settling for alot more jump shots.

I don't get all the spooging over Neal. He's a great shooter, we know that. So he hits his shots tonight and he's a hero, but if he misses those same looks he's a chucker.

As long as he plays within himself and doesn't try to out do the meaningless output that Mills had last night, that's all we need from him.
Well that's the point and why he was brought in. If he makes the shots, you ride his ass until he starts going cold. If he misses, you bench him and insert another player (like Mills who was going to come in for Neal at one point).

How do you guys feel about the lack of Kawhi Leonard in this game?
Green and Jackson were playing much better than him.

I HATE big leads on the road against good teams. Good chance Spurs blow the rest of the lead in the 3rd.

Loved SJax in that first half. He allowed the Spurs to match Boston's toughness.

Green was pretty damn good, too.

Duncan should have rested for longer in the first half, tbh.

I might hold out Ginobili in the second half. He doesn't look totally healthy. Not worth the risk. (Has his hair all turned grey or that's a reflection? He suddenly looks like he's 52.)

As great as Neal was offensively, he single-handedly canceled out his effort by sucking on defense.

Leonard looks like he has rookie-wall legs this game.

Parker mostly good but has to keep attacking and ignore the refs.

The Celtics gameplan when Bonner was in the game was to attack Bonner defensively. Worked a little bit but Bonner mostly held up.

Splitter barely plays ... even by Splitter-barely-playing standards.

I'm sure there will be complaints about Blair's defense even though his man didn't touch the ball when he was in the game.

I'm running out of words when it comes to these rotations.

I just hope that it doesn't become a trend.

It is so strange wanting to see the 2nd unit replace the first so we can build a lead.

I'm guessing tonight's rotations are a preview of what's to come in the playoffs.

Not bad for Manu sucking, and Tony being passive as

If anything, Parker was slightly too aggressive.

Very true. It's more like Spurs are up 3 at the half. Boston is disciplined enough to make a comeback.

Against a team that plays small ball for 50% of the game, probably so.

It's pretty weird how easy they are making it look now.

Spurs are so deep that their second unit keeps the pressure on the opponent, they keep scoring at a high rate.

    Constant wave of players performing.

Oh, I'm serious... he started strong, taking it to the rim and ing about calls, but after he came back from the bench, he was MIA

It's official, I've memorized all 5 commercials FSSW airs. Especially the Brown Hand Center and Budweiser one. I think they need to add a couple more for sanitys sake.

Good stat. But tell me how many of those games were on the road and we lead by 15+ in the first half at some point. I know there was at least one loss this season where the Spurs blew a big lead. The Heat?
