he did it vs the worst rebounding team in the league who was going small
he also fought away a few from duncan
maybe 2 of those rebounds were contested
parker/neal/jack/duncan/splitter/manu all could have easily gotten those rebounds
but at least he rebounded unlike blair
blairs a hustle/rebound player who doesnt hustle or rebound
as bad as bonner is i would take him a million times over blair

On a more serious note, I can see it happening if the Spurs have their seed locked up with 2 or 3 games to go and Pop shuts down Duncan and gives Bonner 25-30 minutes. Not guaranteed even in that scenario, but possible.

I heard D'Antoni had a nervous breakdown when told Bonner had a double-double game. You know you're a horrible joke of a team when you let that happen.

I slightly chuckled when I heard the crowd erupt in glutonous cheer as Bonner snagged his 10th rebound...
They recently were the first team to have 13 players record an assist, as the NBA only allowed 12 to suit up prior to the new CBA. This would then have to be the first time that all 13 active players recorded not only an assist but scored and grabbed a rebound. If Bonner had only committed a turnover, all 13 players could have had a turnover to add to that record.
And again tonight or Tuesday, maybe both. Manu will also score over 20, because an old retired football player won't be able to stop him.
