Salt Lake gets a bad rap here; it's a beautiful area near lots of great hiking and skiing. It would be one of my first choices despite its re ed politics and liquor laws.
Utah is incredibly underrated. So is Oregon. But you would have to be into outdoors stuff and fairly active to appreciate it. Low obesity rates in those states... it's not for everyone.

New Orleans. There's no telling where you will live next year tbh.
LOL ignorance is bliss. The Hornets just locked into a new lease until 2024 including a $50 million dollar arena upgrade (not that it even needs it anyways).

Its hilarious watching some of you mad Spur fan spew such ignorance about the Hornets when they don't even know the facts. Even during this ty rebuilding season the Hornets still have generated for revenue and have better attendance than at least 5 other larger market cities with better teams on the floor. If ANY team should be given it should be Indiana and their pathetic yearly attendance despite having playoff teams on the court and being what they claim to be a "basketball state".

Worst NBA cities to live in (no particular order)...

    - Cleveland
    - San Antonio
    - Milwaukee

As someone who has lived in cities in 5 different states (including SA) and currently lives no where near San Antonio, I kind of hope people are trolling when they say SA is a ty place to live. I can only assume the people who really think that have never spent much, if any, time there.

San Antonio is just plain boring. The only nice area is really stone oak.

I'm really surprised there's no "Boston because it's racist as " comments.

And San Antonio is a nice city, it just shuts down at 10 o clock.

Used to be the case 15 years ago. not any more.

By far the city I would NOT want to play in is Sacto. Complete cow town.

Tbh, any city would be fun and live if you were a multi-millionaire, regardless of reputation IMO..

    If I had to choose:

    1. Cleveland
    2. Detroit
    3. Milwaukee
    4. Indiana
    5. Oklahoma City
    6. Memphis
    7. Minneapolis
    8. San Antonio

Friendly people, horrible weather in winter. Horrible. Not much to do, either.

There's a reason pretty much every athlete lives in Miami or LA in the offseason.

Economically depressed city whose best days came and went years ago. It's bitterly cold in the winter, and gray 9 months out of the year.

One of the best hospital systems in the country though (Cleveland Clinic).

But it would still be great to play there a few years, get everyone's hopes up, and then break for greener pastures.
