Okay, I admit it, I had a slight freak out when I initially started this thread. A fighter jet crashed in Virginia Beach, just a few miles from where another one had crashed back in 1966. My little sister and I were home alone that night in '66, and the plane narrowly missed our roof and crashed three houses down, pretty much destroying our neighborhood. I hadn't thought about it for almost forty years, but the video of the recent crash brought it back with a vengeance. I talked to my sister, and she had much the same reaction, remembering details that had been buried for four and a half decades.
I guess my worst worry was that my Daughter and two of my grandsons still live in the area, and it wasn't until she assured me that the crash was far enough away that the kids didn't see any of the destruction that I started to calm down.
