Lebron got that locked up
No
Yeah he is having an MVP season, but he doesnt have enough star power
no
we already have some threads about that.. not going to complain tough
Media Hype is overrated. LBJ playing like a beast, not hype, tbh. If Durant wins, that's because of hype but not Lebron.
No.. not with those stats.
hes become passive since manu has gotten back
and the way the teams playing his stats have taken a hit
but devin harris seems to bring out the goods in tony
well see if he can keep it up vs the mike conleys of the world
NO Chance but SHOULD get it . He deserves it. Funny because the other two in contention are ring-less.
I don't think he will but I hope he gets at least a couple of votes.
NONE... ZERO...ZILCH...
He doesn't have the flashy numbers the media looks for in MVP voting. Even if the Spurs finish with the NBA's best record, he'll finish no better than 3rd in the voting behind Lebron and Durant (and probably lower than 3rd, tbh). I can see Kobe getting more votes than him too, as sad as that might be...
Please just stop, there is other basketball being played outside of San Antonio.
Lebron is 10x the player Tony is i'm afraid, and I say that as a Parker/Spurs fan. Rings have nothing to do with a regular season award either. Parker will get a few 5th place votes as usual but he will not be MVP nor is he even close to deserving MVP. Duncan had incredible seasons from a statistical POV as well as from an impact standpoint the years he won the award; those are what MVP seasons look like.
The Spurs as currently constructed resemble an ensemble cast, no one player will get all of the credit as a result. Truthfully speaking, this is simply a good season from Tony, he has played better in the past. He is running the offense very well but for some reason his scoring efficiency has taken a hit.
Again with this ?
No, he has no chance
