Jeff sounds a bit testy. The bars in Salt Lake might not be up to snuff.

Worst beat writer of the league. He's so bad that in this tweet he basically admits he sucks
He offers very little information that isn't posted on spurs.com and almost nothing of any significance. Worse yet, he's routinely scooped on actual news about the team by reporters from other media outlets.

    The latest:

As we reported last night, it's highly likely most, if not all Big 3, stay behind. But no official word. Just an educated guess.

Poor Jeffy. Less than 6 hours before tip and he tweets:

Just to reiterate: I have no clue who did or did not make trip to Utah, or what Pop plans to do with his lineup tonight.

Who did not make the trip to Utah last night? You said 3 players, is it the big 3

I'm not on team charter, so not able to do head count. Guessing some are left in SA.

A true "reporter". Since he can't see it with his own eyes, he can't report on the burning question of the day which involves the only topic he is paid to cover for the only newsrag in town. Amazing.

Didn't a great Texan once say, "You'd be amazed how much work you can get done with telephones and fax machines" or some flavor of that?

In other words, they may or may not play tonight. Thanks Jeff! You sure have a finger on the Spurs' pulse.

I sold my tickets and moved back 20 rows for tonight's game. Saved $200. Still lower bowl, just lowered my risk because who knows what the Pop is going to do tonight. I just didn't want to be that guy at this years portland game in $150 seats.

I have tickets to tonights game. A girl I'm dating bought 8th-row tickets behind the Jazz bench. They're expensive, so I'm going REGARDLESS. Plus the 'action' after the game is raucous!

    I'll return and report.

I guess it's gonna be Portland all over again. Ah well, that game was gonna be tough as to win even with the Big 3. Tonight, even without the Big 3, the Spurs will have a good shot with SJax, Mills, and Diaw with the team. Utah could very well be without Millsap and Miles too.

^^ So that confirms what most of us were thinking.

Man, Jeff is killing me here. Even if Pop is in running things in the media he should be able to break news ahead of the Salt Lake Tribune at least.

Speaking of which, have they put something out yet?

Hey, don't be doing McDonald's job for him!

Oh wait, his job is to read what someone else reports and then repeat it. Nevermind.

    Thanks for the anecdote.

Kobe Bryant sat out the Los Angeles Lakers' game against the Phoenix Suns on Saturday night with an injured left shin, the first game he's missed this season.

Lakers longtime trainer Gary Vitti said just before tipoff he decided to put Bryant's left foot in a protective boot to rest the injury.

"It's very painful," Vitti said. "He's been playing with this and it's not getting any better. Really the only way to stop it is to shut him down. That's why I put him in a boot."
That is the reason the Spurs rest players when they have a minor injury rather than trying to play thru it. OH, WAIT, LA can't do that. They have NO bench to play.

Wait. Don't we have the deepest team in the league? Jazz starters are playing back to back. We should give them a tough game, regardless of who wins.

Duncan & Ginobili were both in the Tone @ Best Buy together today. I know, groundbreaking stuff.
    I will color you impressed.
