Dragic. Lin is a one-hit wonder.
who would you rather have running point for your team? now and the future
Dragic might be also...he's only been beasting for about 15 games or so. About as many games as Lin had when Linsanity was bestowed upon us
Laker Killer in the 2010 WCF. And det stupid Sasha fanned the flame in Game 6.
Yeah but those performances were obviously a fluke. These stretch of games are when Dragic has been performing marvelously on a consistent basis. Debatable whether Dragic or Lin has had the better level of play during the stretch when they played well every single night.
Yeah. I still feel Dragic has a better trajectory than Lin. One on one, he is going to smoke Lin.
Dragic. He's playoff proven. Dragic is actually a good PG. Lin is the guy who got the ball a lot. Talented sure, but no.
Dragic and Lin competed in training camp for the Rockets. Dragic ended up in the rotation. Lin got cut.
I probably don't need to emphasise who I voted for. What Dragič doing right now is certanily not a fluke.
Offensively I think they are both on aproximately the same level; I just don't know Lin enough to say who is better defensively which probably decides "the matchup".
Goran is way better than him in all aspects.
From a basketball standpoint I would take Dragic. Like DMC said, he is playoff proven. I'm more sure of what Goran is going to be able to provide. With Lin, I'm not yet sure he wasn't just a product of the D'Antoni system. Given his injury, it appears we will have to wait until next year to see if he is the real deal. If you are factoring in marketability and the like, then I would be inclined to give Lin a harder look.
Things would be crazy if Dragic was playing at his current level for the Knicks.
I was just thinking this the other day. His flashy play and behind the back tricks would make him a media darling just the same as Lin was.
New York is New York.
Pringles would still have his job.
It must be hard to be a realistic Knicks fan... I think they are out of serious championship contension for the next 5 years at minimum.
They have 3 seriously overpaid players until 2015. And after that they will probably have to start from scratch.
Btw... after seeing an argument on some other forum what the height of Goran is I can confirm he is at least 6-4 with shoes or even 6-4 without shoes.
I am 1,88cm (6-2) without shoes and I stood next to him a couple of years ago in Slovenia. And he was quite taller - somewhere around 4-5cm (2 inches) more than me.
What? Goran Dragic ?
Sure J-Lin, dude is the future Steve Nash
You should just go back and post upstairs.

This poll is apparently for sentimental morons.
