The thing of it is, we're not even playing that bad defensively. The Lakers are making absolutely every outside shot. MWP is a ing awful shooter and he couldn't miss.

I'm a lot more concerned about the offense. Everyone settling for jump shots and the ball movement was abysmal. At least with the bench unit it's a little better, but the loss is completely on Tim, Tony and Pop, for not getting his head out of his ass.

If he can't realize that Tiago plays at both ends better than Blair or Diaw, I don't know what to say. He's just a stubborn ing old fool.
This tbh. And I was so confident that he'd learned from the Memphis series.

I am not sure Splitter more minutes would make a difference in a game like this, nights like tonight Bynum looks like the most dominant inside force in the league
Follow the logic->He sees himself as this force->Bean is on the pine->Bynum thinks he should be Option 1->Spurs meet LAL in playoffd->Pop decides to employ 2 tower theory->Bean decides that the ball should stop in his hands and is still the defacto option 1->Bynum sulks because of it->Spurs win the series.

Oh and today, it's still a REGULAR SEASON game.

Thank the basketball gods the Spurs have another one tomorrow night.

Do you think we will see this kind of shooting in LA? From the Lakers or the Spurs?

No disrespect Maverick, but it's not just about LA having a good shooting night.

It's annoying how Spurs "fans" jump ship after one bad game. This team has more to it. Shame on all of you who give up on them because of one atrocious game where Pop was clearly tinkering with the playoffs in mind.
How about tinkering with a lineup that could actually work against a big frontline? Like I dunno...playing Duncan and Splitter together? His coaching tonight is ridiculous and anyone that wants to Popologize this abortion should be ashamed of themselves.

Spurs deserve the "soft" card tonight, but Pop needs a wake up call of his own too. I don't understand the BS of tinkering the lineup when you face a team with size, you fricking play size.

At least he doesn't play scared. He'll take the shot and he'll attack the basket.

OKC lost but I don't know if that is bad or good we might to do everything we can to avoid Bynum in playoffs, I want to see us play everyone against the Grizz to see if we need to duck them too

Well, looks like the Spurs will have an excellent chance to "fly under the radar" from here on in.

BTW, the Big 3 rest against Portland (on an 11 game win streak) and what happens the next few games . . .

The Big 3 rest against Utah (on an 11 game win streak) and . . .

Manu and Tp off, Pop never found a lineup that worked, Fakers can't miss... terrible game, but I don't think we'll see it repeated.

Also, this is a wakeup call for the team. Pop might pull the soft card after this one, and with a few weeks to the playoffs the timing couldn't be better.
Its more annoying that fans like you haven't learned to just accept it and ignore it after 10 years.

    The problem is not losing

The problem is the fact that we're getting destroyed at home after resting our 3 best players. SA simply suck at rebounding. We had the same problem against Chicago and now we have the same problem against the Lakers. And we're gonna have the same problem every time we face a big front-court.
