The spurs have one final roster spot to fill. Who do you all think that will be? I know they will carry 15 into the playoffs

Spurs should really try and get an enforcer, preferably a big.

My ceiling of excitement is maybe they sign somebody they've had their eyes on for a while and has a low % chance to work out after SL and Training camp. Like a Danny Green.

I would say I hope it's a Power Forward but I have no idea what the offseason plans are for the Spurs, so I'll just say I hope it's someone they've been very high on. Like a Danny Green.

Any player signed would be ineligible for the playoffs. Basically there is no point in wasting money.

If he hasn't played for another team this year, we could sign someone the last day of the season and he'd be playoff eligible.

Thanks for clarifying. But there's no one out there that could step in right now and crack the rotation with only 9 games left. Even if there's an injury in the playoffs I don't see the Spurs going out and signing someone for the playoffs.

Not if he didn't play in the NBA this year.

No idea why. They won't ever play, and we're WELL into luxury tax country.

Yeah they are definitely into their luxury tax, but I guess it's for insurance maybe incase of injuries. Not sure why

Only player that could contribute in the playoffs would be Antonio McDyess. I would gladly welcome him back.

Not released, just inactive for the rest of Dallas' season, to avoid exactly this scenario.

Just for depth purposes, I'm in favor of re-adding Dawson ... or a random 7-footer. Either way, the bigmen depth is still shaky considering Blair might self-destruct if benched.
