just stick to trolling and leave the basketball part alone.
This LkrFan doesn't even know about the Lakers and he walks in here talking about the management of the Spurs rotation.
just stick to trolling and leave the basketball part alone.
Wow, I was expecting some kind of backpedal or lane change where you pretend you were expecting me to post that like what generally occurs in the NBA forum when someone gets proven wrong. Good job![]()
You are right. I don't watch many Spur games out here in Japan. The Armed Forces Network doesn't play too many of your games so I'll take your word for it.
My question is, is he playing well against scrubs or starting quality players? Scrubs and/or garbage time is a disqualifier IMO.
I don't "troll" all the time.![]()
He just plays well in general. He'll change his game depending on the size and athletic ability of his matchup. Regardless, he's a huge upgrade over Blair. There's no denying that.
Agreed. At this point I guess Pop should throw his ass in the pool. Either sink or swim.
I hope Pop goes with the small lineup and we get manhandled inside. It would leave him with no choice against those matchups.
I will lol too.
This season is a huge bonus for me tbh. I had 0 expectation, I thought the Spurs would barely fight for a PO spot during all season. Instead of that the spurs have clinched a PO spot, they are fighting to be the number one in the west, we get rid of RJ and his ridiculous contract, we have some young players to be exited about, tim, manu, tp and jax are back together. It has been a very nice and fun season so far and it's not a ass kicking like yesterday that is going to change that.
As for today's game, I am on the few who said last year that the grizz was the better team, I wouldn't be surprised if they win tonite.
Now I'll keep rooting for my team and not quitting like a 14 year olds girlie lakers fans after a stretch of bad loss.
I think the saddest part is even if Pop trots out Blair/Bnner as their frontcourt and they get sodomized, it probably won't change his mind.
DD, you want to bet w/ me on this game mono y mono?
Are you gonna give me the points?
Straight up - I got Spurs, you got Memphis.
No dice...besides, I'm already going to lay a C on the under
Then I don't want to hear you talking sh*t if the Spurs lose if you aren't confident enough to back up your takes...
I wasn't even all that pissed about Bynum's 30 board game. Despite that, I'll take the Spurs holding the Lakers' two 7 footers to a combined 16-44 shooting any day of the week. I was more disappointed in how the Spurs seemed to forget to defend the 3 point line and let a washed up Artest burn them for 26 points on 10-15 shooting, 15 of those points being from 3. Not to mention Barnes going for 13 points, including 3-6 from 3.
I don't back up my takes/smack with bad business decisions. That's something an emotionally unstable and desperate person would do (i.e. thispego)
Both teams coming off a back-to-back, Spurs are at home and have a lot to prove after getting destroyed last night. They SHOULD win, that's why I said I'll laugh IF (read the OP) they lose.
Speaking of business decisions, how are you liking that bet between pego and I now? Safe to say det one's in the bag if our teams should meet.![]()
How is it a bad business decision if you are certain of what you say (i.e. Spurs can't hang with the bullies???)
I still want to see the last two games, but yes, I have said all along LA is a contender and the Spurs worst match up.
Don't be gay.
I said they can't hang over a playoff series...every time I said that it was in a thread about or in the context of a playoff series (i.e. Spurs should pray that they avoid Memphis and LA, etc).
Anybody can win one game, and when you're at home and need to rebound like they do, you should win. Vegas agrees with me (Spurs -5.5).
So in addition to playing soccer and listening to the Kings of Leon, you're now promoting bad business decisions.
ElNono still in major damage control mode
you took that loss really hard last night, didn't you?
Had you listened to Papa DD all along this would've been easier on you.
