    Sampson and the Dream.

You really thought I was gonna say "since Jim and Robinson" didn't ya, Spurfan?

Baby Drew and Gasol would annihilate those two, in their primes or not. Last night, the best center in the league grabbed 30 boards against Jim. Jim and Robinson probably never even managed to grab 30 rebounds combined against the Lakers.

Last night's game was just a glimpse of the doom to come to you and the league. The NB will be handily fcked from now on. I doubt we lose another game this season.

Are you saying if each player was in their prime out of Duncan/Robinson vs. Bynum/Gasol? If so, .

Those two would rape Bynum/Gasol and then their mothers if they were in their prime.

No doubt. Gasol has been one of the, if not the best big man in the league for the last 3 or 4 years, and Bynum got it together this year and is just dominating.

Much respect to the Lakers for field such an impressive front line. In fact, the Lakers have had the best front line in the league for the last 4 years. The Lakers big men just dominating like they are supposed to.

As for the comparison to the Admiral and Duncan, it's tough to say. The Spurs big men were the focal point of both offense and defense throughout, while the Lakers big men were relegated to garbage men duties and wasted much of their talent the last few years on the offensive side of the game. I believe if Gasol and Bynum were the focal point of the offense the last few years, they would be like Hakeem and Jabbar together in their primes, just purely unstoppable, and the Lakers would have easily won the last few championships together. In all honesty, the Lakers should be going for the five peat this season.
