The twist with Sharpton is, he will also take an incident -- that just happens to involve an African-American on the losing end (i.e. Trayvon Martin) -- hype it up as some kind of racially motivated deed and begin working the media circuit as an expert on race issues.

It's kind of like the volunteer fire fighter who sets fires so he can collect the $25.00 payment volunteers get for every fire they respond to.

What I don't understand is why the does Sharpton have any credibility?

It depends.

I pretty much always know the answer anyway since I am perfectly capable of looking things up. CC often posts things that can be backed up but he's just too lazy to do so. Others are flat out lying and could never find anything to back up his position if he tried.

Sharpton's shakedowns are fairly common knowledge, as are Jackson's.

Backing up arguments is something I like to see here. If people can do it, they should, and if they can't they need to admit it. Not just get angry and start flaming.
