IF Rivers can stay healthy, this could be a solid pickup for the Giants. There is talk of moving Kiwi to DE to replace Tollefson and Boley to MLB. They still have Jones,Williams, and Herzlich who will all continue to grow as young players.

As for Locklear, hopefully he can be a solid contributor. Giants are shuffling that o line, but I trust Reese.

    Giants resign Chase Blackburn...

This means Goff is gone for sure now. I like the group of linebackers the Giants have now. A great mix of youngsters and vets. I can't wait for the draft!

They lost Tollefson, so they need some depth there. If Rivers stays healthy, Boley/Jones/Herzlich/Williams etc etc will be enough to move Kiwi to DE. He is a true professional, and a team player. He is willing to do whatever he has to do to help the team win. I just hope they don't trade Osi. He is under contract for 1 more season, so they better hang onto him.

The Giants' bread and butter is having studs and tons of depth at DE so that move makes perfect sense. If they keep Osi and Kiwi adjusts well (he always has), JPP/Tuck/Osi/Kiwanuka is still better than any other group of edge rushers in the NFL.
