Spurs were competing with the Lakers despite Tony and Manu never showing up, and Duncan being of little help defensively. It started in the 3rd. As DD said, Bynum/Gasol were shooting poorly despite raping the Spurs on the boards. It was MWP and the bench carrying the team offensively, which doesn't happen 9 times out of 10 (except with Kobe out ).

The spurs actully had a chance to get the lead down to single digits even 8 if I recall but they just missed open shots like on 3 straight possesions to end the 3rd

Spurs need to adjust their rotation. Last game, their only answer to being doubled up on the boards was packing the paint and letting MWP and company rip us to shreds. Cmon Pop, do what you gotta do and play Splitter and Diaw big minutes.
