But yeah from what I remember every Dallas fan on this site was saying that losing Tyson Chandler basically killed any chance they had at repeating and made them a non-contender. Their argument was that they'd rather go after Dwight than keep Tyson and go after what would be a very slim chance at repeating, it wasn't that they should let Tyson go because he wasn't important.

Dwight & Deron were never an option. It was do you want to contend and have the easy possibility to salary dump Tyson in the off season or the guaranteed ability to go after Dwight or Deron.
