Leonard is much better than Jackson, but these 2 games have shown that Kawhi is intimidated by Artest.

beautiful to watch. it was subtle and not realy highlighted by the cameras. But if you watch carefully you will see Jax slowly and carefully disected the slow brain of Metta World Peace.
the least we can take out of this is that we got our Metta killer in Sjax.

Yeah..I said the same thing to my gf..when they started shoving in the post on a couple series I mentioned how RJ would have bent over for Metta..
When blake fouled manu...jackson threatened blake and his entire family and blake his pants...it was subtle but effective.

I think foul trouble had more to do with it. When he was aggressive he got the offense going but whistles slowed him down all night

I don't think it's necessarily intimidated thing. Kawhi didn't back down from top scorer like Durant at all.
Although he's not that skillful, Metta is one of kind offensively. Like a slow motion Barkley, but even bigger (although he plays SF, Charles plays PF). When he is on, it's very hard to stop him.
Jack also got his hands full tonight. Although Metta didn't have good statistics, I never feel Jack had him under control. If KB is willing to let Metta initiate some offense when coming back, they are still biggest challenges to us in the West.
I wouldn't say he's intimidated, the first game was a fluke game, MWP was knocking down nearly everything he shot. It's just that MWP is too big and Leonard isn't experienced enough, he's just 20 years old and Artest outweighs him by like 30lbs. Jax knows how to guard big guys, Nowitzki really struggled to back him down, he keeps his center of gravity really really low.
The only guy in the league who can physically match up with Ron is LeBron.
Dare him to shoot threes/fadeaways and keep him off the offensive boards, and you're good.

Remember - Artest was a major player in "The Malice at the Palace", along with Stephen Jackson. Jax knows all about Artest - and he's certainly not intimidated by him.

It was obvious that MWP was starting to flake out on that last foul. He was starting to show some of that other old Artest we used to see in Houston. Jackson did a great job of keeping a body on him and irritating him in the process. I love that type of defense.
Yeah World Peace disappeared after his hot 1st quarter. Jack played great on him.
Also, I want to see a replay of Jack staring Blake's pussy ass down.
