A recommendation from the genuine mother er.
Has/is anyone read/reading this book? It's a great read from Simmons tbh. It's 700+ pages long but it offers a lot of history and perspective about the NBA.
A recommendation from the genuine mother er.
How is your mom?
I'm probably gonna pick it up soon, Bill Simmons is atleast in my opinion the best writer In basketball.
Good book written by an a guy with insider access who is still a fan first. Definitely worth reading.
Just a little obsessed with 6-24.
tee, hee.
You finished it already? I'm on the trade paperback version now.
Received it as gift when it came out.
I read it straight through, but it's the sort of book you can just leave in your favorite reading room and read a chapter here and there.
One of Simmons' best anecdotes:
Start at 6:15
Simmons is a hater. A consciousless Laker hating bas , like that Ryan guy there in MA..
He means us no good.
I spit in his ing face. Patooey!!!
Simmons' is bigger parroting than cully.
Russilo is much better
Forget all this silly and just win tonite, dummy.
Yep, these are my readers.

I read it with the addendum where he moved Kobe up after he rang in 2009 ...
Good book. Obviously he has his biases but a good read ...
How about getting a refund for the Red Sox book?
LOL no Laker fan wants to watch the end of the most famous game in franchise history?
At least you still have Naruto though.
Reading this book, I just found out that the Lakers almost had Worthy and Sampson in 1982...
Have you guys read the Russell vs Wilt debate? Do you find Simmons' arguments satisfactory? I find it compelling for no reason at all. I feel like Simmons is biased in presenting his case but the facts are undeniable.
I know he's biased (he hates the Lakers for 's sake) but his book is pretty good tbh. He hits with timely jabs when he feels like it, but his arguments are laid out in a factual way
you finished the book already venti?
Yeah i'm reading it right now, Simmons may be an ass but he knows what he's talking about.
I just finished the L1 of the HOF Pyramid.
