It seems merciful that he's passed considering how terrible he looked at the last public appearances. RIP.
Now what about Levon Helm? Did he go too? I read, on Facebook, that he had died but didn't see anything on the news about it.
Many was the Saturday night when then neighborhood rockers would GTG with our 45’s to rock out to Ricky Nelson, Jerry & the Pacemakers, Kingsmen, DC-5, Tommy James & the Shondells and rating each songs dance ability…Not embarrassed to say that I did my share of Coca Cola & Laura Scudders Wam Pums at those Shin-digs...Thanks for the good times ...
