    When you look at the cap and bringing guys in, the salary is egregious, however; the marketibility, endorsements, cache, world renown and he's pretty much the face of the NBA it's definitely a sound investment. He's regressing and will continue to do so. Once he starts to buy in to Bynum and Sessions as the youth the Lakers will be fine. Will he do so, as history has shown are in spurts it's a waiting game.

    There is no one in the NBA like Kobe. There are better players at this stage of his career, but no one is as important in the scheme of things.

    Did you not see Kori's thread to Cully and by ext Kool......She was supposed to have un Pinked me by now according to her own rules...But she cares that I called her lame...she's taking my very minor criticism of her personally.She wants to show me and Cully that she's in Control....and what she doesn't realize is that I love being dominated by her hands...she's just using you guys to do her dirty work so that TimVp doesn't get alarmed at the back and forth between us..She cares what I think about her...and that's more than enough for me...

    Yes, Kobe is worth his contract. He is still the best or second best shooting guard in the league. He is currently leading the league in scoring. When you take into account all he has accomplished for his franchise, on top of his international popularity, he is worth every penny. Given that money is not really an issue with the Lakers ownership it is really a no brainer.
