Romney has bills son. He could give two s.
C'mon! The man needed a teleprompter to address a classroom full of grade schoolers. If that isn't the very definition of social ineptness, I don't know what is.
Bottom line? Barack Obama and Mitt Romney will both say things and do things that can be mocked by the opposition and lifted up as PROOF of what an idiot they are.
Neither man achieved the level of success they have by being socially awkward. Obama organized communities. Romney, companies.
I only got in this thread to point that out...and, to mock Barry a bit.

Romney is socially awkward for the same reason that Jon Kerry was socially awkward.
Theyre nothing like common folk, they never were, they never will be and their political aspirations force them to try and "be common and relatable".
Theyre not common and they are nothing even remotely like the Plebs they wish to govern. Thats what blue-bloods sound like and act like when surrounded by the common man, very off-putting.
Thats why Paul and Clinton werent/arent awkward in the same sense. They are self-made people, they grew up in middle class, upper middle class families, went to public school with other normals and didnt forget the lifestyle.
Kerry? Romney?! Blue bloods, through and through. Private schools, rich upbringing, never once in their formative years did they venture outside the country club circle and learn social skills that dont involve raising your pinky while drinking tea and discussing the awful lower class' expectations.
This isnt a revelation. No one is likeable in these horse races, they just so happen to have the proper consonant at the end of the name that the monkeys are programmed to love or hate.
Well...
...you don't know the definition.
I actually don't remember the verbatim of it, so I may be wrong on the exact words. Sorry if I was wrong, I was making the point that it isn't so bad as people try to make out.
I understand exactly what you're saying, and I think he tried to pull that off in order to get out of eating the cookies which he NEVER ate -- not even one. The fact that he knows the community was putting its best foot forward only compounds the insult and further proves that he is socially awkward and an elitist.
Well, I guess he lost some votes...over cookies.
Another full of special from our very own WC!
Complaining about being an elitist.
My God...
Who makes it to a presidential election who isn't an elitist?
Do you thing Barackman Turner Obamadrive isn't an elitist?
For reals?
Not so good, is it....
Sorry.
I would say Clinton was the only closest thing to non-elitist that was president. And he was an elitist.
this is so hypocritical it's not even funny.
I agree with you 100%, calling a presidential candidate an "elitist" is re ed and stupid, you should WANT your president to be elite. It's hypocritical however because the Republican party has used to term elitist to smear Democratic candidates 100x as much as the other way around.
FDR proved you can be born into extreme wealth and still be in-touch with struggling Americans -- and do so without being a pretentious bag.
