So you're saying you hate to pull for LAL cuz it's LAL..
but if OKC wins it's no good for the Spurs in two different ways...
Gee...
I just hate pulling for LAL anytime but if they beat OKC, Spurs probably lock up the number 1 seed.
However, if OKC beats LAL the Lakers might fall into the 4th seed and probably would have to face Memphis in the first round.
Also OKC could then still win the West (although they Spurs would have to lose twice) and the top seed would face one of those teams in the 2nd round.
So who to root for tommorow (I am going with the Thunder as I just cannot root for LAL and the way the Spurs are playing, I want them to get the first seed and let the matchups be whatever they are)?

Gotta root for the Lakers. Best bracket for the Spurs remains:
1. Spurs
2. OKC
3. Lakers
4. Clippers
5. Grizzlies
6. Nuggets/Mavs
7. Mavs/Nuggets
8. Jazz/Suns
... and a Lakers win makes that very possible.
hate the lakers, but still cheering for them.
Wait til you get to high school.
I guess I'm in the minority that doesn't care where the Lakers fall in the seeding. However, I do want Spurs to get the #1 seed and for that reason, I want OKC to lose. Also, it will give Pop more flexibility to rest the big 3 with another 4 games in 5 nights.
Unless the Spurs decide to tank into 2nd if OKC wins, hoping that the seeding ends up:
1. OKC
2. SA
3. LAC
4. LAL
5. MEM
6/7/8 whatever
thereby avoiding having to play more than one of OKC/LAL/MEM.
ok...
I am normally not a violent person but.....
I would like to see him die in front of me.
Right when he sticks that tongue out for that L...
I would like to shove his lower jaw up through his skull.
Obviously rooting for the Lakers. I want that 1st seed. Screw all this pure Laker hate crap. I stopped hating on the Lakers when I was like fifteen.
You guys need to realize how important that 1st seed is when it comes to OKC and S.A. We already know that we can win Playoff road games with this veteran squad. They've proved it time and time again. But do you know how hard it will be for the young Thunder to walk into San Antonio and win a Playoff game there? Where they won't get the bull calls they usually get in OKC.
You best believe, those cats know they need that #1 seed. They need it far more than we need it. So why not take it if its right in front of us? All this "tanking to avoid teams" crap really makes me puke.
First of all, this guy right here deserves death in as violent a manner as possible
That said, I'm hoping the thunder lose--I'll take the #1 seed any season, and i don't give a about last year.
actually the best bracket for the Spurs is
1. OKC
2. Spurs
3. Clippers
4. Lakers
5. Grizzlies
6. Nuggets/Mavs
7. Nuggets/Mavs
8. Jazz/Suns
Though I like having the #1 seed in the west and possiblity of the #1 overall. I play it either way, let the game play out, I like the idea of OKC being a 1/2 game behind, giving us the ability should we choose to use it to control the brackets.
The #1 seed really helped last year....
Lakers of course, for positioning, but I hope it goes 4 OTs.
But they aren't going to. Oh andat the cause/correlation of having 1st seed last year/losing in 1st round.
If you take this and multiply by 1 billion....that would be how much I hate the lakers....
I lived in L.A. for 17 years...and grew to love the city...but my Laker hatred grew ....and grew....and grew...
OKC should whip their asses tomorrow and send the lakers to play memphis....
I'll be a LkrFan for a couple of hours tomorrow afternoon. Won't be the first time. Wanted them to beat Boston every time those two met in the Finals.
Lakers falling to 4 is only a remote possibility and depends on the Clippers not losing.
In the end the bracket looks good to me regardless of whether the Lakers are 3rd or 4th. But #1 is important. So it's better if the Thunder lose. Not rooting for the Lakers though. Seeing Bynum cry after losing to OKC by 20+ point would make my day, any day.
And the Spurs are still in control of their seeding even if OKC wins: winning against CLE, POR and GS is enough to clinch. We can drop the PHO game and still be #1 in the West. If we lose against any of these 3 teams we definitely don't deserve to be #1.
I would like whatever makes the WCF a Spurs vs Lakers match-up.
We'd get a lot of publicity and I'd love the Spurs to stomp them in front of millions.
