Up there we see something we just don't see coming out of Asia or the white world. Something unique to the black race. That rhythm, agility/elusiveness and speed. It really is a black thing. Yes I know there have been a few exceptions but very few. There are 32 starting running backs in the NFL, all 32 are black. All 64 starting cornerbacks....black. In that 4x1 video, on that second leg for the USA was a white cat named Gerry Ashworth out of Dartmouth. He was the last white sprinter to run on our Oly 4x1 team. Last Ivy Leaguer also.
This goes far beyond want/need/escape the ghetto/culture, this is all about unique physical characteristics we see in those with roots to western Africa.
Then there are the Kenyans, they also possess a unique phyique. You could never mistake a Kenyan for a Nigerian. Kenya did have a sprinter named Seraphino Antao back in the 60's. Since then a few 400 guys. Obviously all those long distance runners.
I've read/heard the ignorant say..."oh yeah, well where are the fast Africans?" Nigeria alone has had 8-10 sub 10.00 sprinters. Ghana has had a couple. Then there's the great Frankie Fredericks out of Namibia. There are about a dozen or so sub10.00 Africans. 1..white, 0...Asians.
As we all know Nigeria is ed up. In spite of that they still have had some serious speed. Then there's Jamaica and the Caribbean. If we took the great sprinters born in the Carib not even the USA could compare much less Asia and Europe. Speaking of Jamaica they have another one....Delano Williams....still in high school. There is no end in sight.
