Well this thread is about to jump off the tracks.![]()
I thought when religious people die they go to heaven or .
What religion states that ghosts can remain on earth around the area that they died in order to rattle some dishes and make shadow puppets?
Well this thread is about to jump off the tracks.![]()
There is a level of limbo in between. And I don't mean dancing under a broomstick
I was talking about non-believers in ghosts and believers in ghosts, not religion.
uh oh religion debate inc, this page will be 10+ soon
most of these are fake, but the running man is real
the running man has been validated by tons and tons of people. i think some "hauntings" are residual, not intelligent at all.
The guys from Everyday Paranormal (based out of San Antonio and were on the show Ghost Lab) have said the same thing. Most of the one "hauntings" they've come across were residual.
at river legacy park here in arlington there are several rumored hauntings that have been well noted through the years..all of which are just basically playing the same scene out over and over and over again. there's gotta be some scientific way to explain it, such as residual energy making a mark on the environment or something.
Rofl scientific
I think they are intertwined.
The next atheist I see that believes in ghosts will be the first.
Faith.![]()
i know that it's cool and trendy for the athiest crowd to not believe in ghosts and i don't necessarily believe in "intelligent" hauntings myself, but you could never tell me that there aren't residual hauntings. seen too much to think otherwise.
Same here. Although I believe in both. With residual hauntings, I think history has put its stamp at a particular location for whatever reason.
When I hear footsteps in the middle of the night on our hardwood floors, I chalk that up to something residual.
When we see things flying off our dinner table in the middle of the day for no apparent reason, I think some "thing" is trying to get our attention, so I chalk that up to an intelligent haunting.
That doesn't make any sense. If something can throw off your table, don't you think it can also stomp around at night?
Of course. I hear the footsteps so much now that I find it weird when I DON'T hear them at night. I don't know what to make of it all.
Have you called it out and demanded it to stop? Or used a Ouija Board?
If a cat dies and haunts the house, would that be an intelligent haunting or a dumb animal haunting?
Or do you think only humans leave residual energy?
Ouija board, no. Have used dowsing rods though. Crazy there.
I have called out to it. Just asked that as long as it isn't evil doesn't try to scare the living out of us at 3 in the morning, then its welcome to stay.
The Ouija is currently the most efficient method today for 2 way communication with the dead. I would encourage you to give it a try.
Also, if it is potentially evil, then why let it stay? You should have just kept it simple and demanded that it leave.
ive heard of pet hauntings
Our priest blessed the house when we bought it, so I feel pretty safe that there isn't anything evil inside the house.
Do you still have the same priest? What denomination?
Yes we do, Catholic
