On his own show on French radio RMC, Tony Parker talks about the current Western Conference leader, the San Antonio Spurs. The four-time NBA All-Star explains how great it is to play with his friend Boris Diaw and believe the Spurs have what it takes to win a championship this season: "Boris is playing really well. It’s great to be with him on the court. I never thought that one day we would be both starting on one of the best NBA teams. We know each other since we were kids, we learned how to play basketball together. He’s really a great add for the team. (…) We are first in the West and we are playing great basketball right now. We have just won 13 games in row. That’s a difficult thing to do in the NBA. I think we have everything needed to win a championship. We only need to avoid injuries and continue in the same direction..."

The most interesting Parker said in today's show it that Pop has told him he will monitored his minutes for the rest of the season. He has 2 off games planed for the rest of the season and some other with a 15 minutes playing time limit.

cannot open the link for whatever reason but on the training camp there are some quotes written.

tony is saying they are doing 2 hours session, European style. During regular season sessions are just 30 to 45 mn. Sometimes we look at each other with Boris and we tell ourselves Pop didn't say that we would rest a bit? But that's normal we are part of the leaders of the team we must lead by example. For the moment we are 21 players with a lot of new players, there is a lot to learn, new systems. We also need to work defensive system. It takes a lot of time.
