If Stern wants to really send a message, this is the perfect time to do it. Suspend him for the playoffs. Otherwise I'd say around 5 or so games; perhaps miss the first couple of the playoffs.

Someone find the youtube video that shows the Bowen-Paul incident in slow motion (and from another angle I think). I've seen it before, but I haven't been able to find it in a while.
After Paul hit Bowen in the groin with the back of his hand, Bowen started to step backwards (his foot was going in the opposite direction from Paul) and Paul threw himself backwards pretending to be kicked.
Arguments can be made for some other things that Bowen has done (though some of those are flawed also), but the suspension for the Paul incident was ridiculous, especially from the slow-motion version of the incident.
