Utah got a good frontline just like the grizzlies from last year. I guess you can say im still traumatized from last year. Just a nervous spurs fan...

They won't be as easy as everyone's making them out to be, but this Spurs team is also loads better than last year's. Also helps this Utah team has no serious veteran leadership and doesn't play high-level physical defense.

Still not certain it'll be Utah, they have a very easy last game and would not be surprised if they match Denver's and/or Dallas's record.

4-2 Spurs, Spurs will decimate the Jazz backcourt, setting up a rematch from last year with the Grizz.

4-0 all blowouts...............unless Pop is stupid enough to start and play Blair 20+ minutes a night. 4-1 if that's the case.

I see a sweep, 4-1 at most... there's no way they can do what they did tonight against PHX against the Spurs.

Yeah because we were blown out by the Grizzlies by a whopping 3 points in game 1 and 3 points in game 3.

Yeah that Memphis front line just blew us out of the water. We really were never compe ive against them.

Undersized bigs and poor shooting. Not worried about them.

Spurs are healthy and peaking at the right time ... they should win easily ... no comparison to last year ... we nearly beat Utah without the Big Three in Utah ...

Hopefully the Jazz don't change things up from the regular season or actually seriously gameplan against us.

By saying that it shows that you're not a Spurs fan.

If you've actually been watching the games lately you would have seen how much better the Spurs have become, with Diaw or Splitter starting games to counter opponent big man lineups, and though the problem of size is still there, it hasn't been critical like last year, or even earlier this year.

You're in the wrong forum - go away troll

While I wouldn't go so far as to say troll, mkurts has the right idea. As long as the big rotation stays about the way it has been there's no way the Spurs lose to Utah. Heck, Blair could start against Utah and as long as the big 3 are there we could still talk about double-digit point differentials.

Last year's Grizz won not only because of their size upfront, but because Tony Allen, Mike Conley, OJ Mayo and Shane Battier outplayed our wings/guards. IIRC the Spurs shot a meager 40% with Battier on the floor.

The Jazz guards are not in the same league, and I don't think Jefferson can dominate the post like Randolph did.

As someone else said they went super big with Favors Jefferson and Millsap and held the Suns to 2 pts in 5:30, lol at saying that Blair could start against that frontline.

They definitely deserve to be taken serisouly, could be a great way to prep for the Grizz in the second round.

We could have the hardest path imaginable frontline-wise to the finals with Jazz-Grizz-Lakers. And let's say Chicago in the finals.

We have our work cut out for us, being a fan doesn't prevent from being realistic.

obvious some people are boxscore heroes here
memphis didnt win with their frontcourt
it played a part, but the roleplayers stepping up and playing the best basketball of their lives killed the spurs
parker disappearing and duncan looking worn out after ankle injuries
    hill was useless
jefferson was so bad he was benched in game 6
tiago not in the rotation and blair/mcdyess getting the majority of the minutes, playoff bonner also made his appearence

this jazz team is not good and their frontcourt is overrated
duncan can easily shut down jefferson
fact: al jefferson has never won a game vs the spurs in which duncan has started
favors has never been in the playoffs and relies solely on his athleticism, splitter will foul him out in less than a quarter once he bites on every fake
the only good game millsap has had vs the spurs this season was when the big 3 sat out
utah has no shooters, SA can easily pack the paint and double the black holes on their team

and blair has actually dominated the jazz when hes played offensively at least

if you think utah is going to beat us, then why bother. there are plenty of tougher teams to be faced after we breeze through the jazz. playing much better than last year at this time.
