tie it back up, not sure if it helps any
Do you re-close it with that wire tie or plastic thingy or do you just twist the wrapper and tuck it underneath? My GF gets mad when I don't use the tie to close the bread up.

She's got issues....get rid of her.
No kidding. Imagine how she would react when you leave the seat up or forget to put the cap back on the toothpaste. Or worse, imagine how she'd freak out if she caught you in bed with her sister. She's gotta go
tie it in a knot
thats about it, unless you need that plastic to know the use by date
Don't buy any more bread. Problem solved.
She never said anything about it when she would just spend the night but now that she has moved in I'm hearing about little things that bother her. I'm going to have to change some things I guess like no more drinking straight from the milk jug. It has only been a few weeks so I'm sure I'll find some of her habits I don't like soon enough.
At my house, the described "twist and tuck" method is the most frequently used. Not by preference, but because those twistys tend to disappear, the moment they are liberated, into the "abyss of lost stuff" that occupies my home.
They sure do seem to disappear into thin air right after I make my sammich.
I take the end slice & slab butter on it...
Agreed.
Once had a girl who walked in on me while I was getting blown ...she got all whiny...."what's going on?"...
I told her..."hey-I told you when we met I had hobbies!"
Cir vent the debate altogether and eat the entire loaf in one sitting every time you open a new one.
That's your problem right there. She should be making the sandwich, not you.

Smart ass.
I don't care if my husband doesn't use the twistie tie, as long as he closes it back up.
Although there is nothing worse than leaving a jug of milk with a few drops left and put it back in the fridge. HATE THAT !
I do both. Twist the open end of the bag tightly, secure with the plastic bit or the twist-tie it came with, and then tuck. Going through bread before it gets stale is hard when you live alone, so I do everything I possibly can to keep it fresher longer.
When I open a loaf of bread.....hmmm?
Let's see, wrap it tight and sholve it against something.
twist and tuck... just make sure all the air is forced out
Twist & tuck for bread but for chips I'll crunch the bag closed also push it up against something or use a cloth pin.
Anyone else find that putting the bread on the microwave makes it get moist in the bag?
I twist the bag and tuck under... but I'm the boss of my house...
lol... my son does that... I take a gallon of milk out of the fridge, and there is like a teaspoon of milk in it...
Twist and tuck after letting the air out. I always smell the bread as I am forcing the air out too.
Halberto - why are you putting bread in the microwave?
My daughter goes ballistic on her brothers if she finds a cereal box with just a few nuggets in it, tucked back neatly on the shelf.
