I love Bonner's D lately, and his rebound has improved(I think) but if he won't shoot 3's in the PO then his minutes have to be cut short.
The somewhat experienced Spurs bench getting schooled by a single rookie.

BTW - when we signed Mills, I said that I was worried that when he was in the Spurs would become the All-Perimeter Team. This is sort of what I had pictured.

Bonner doesn't belong on the floor. A floor filled with D-league players and rookies.

Amazing how bad this guy gets at this time of year. I thought for sure he'd have a decent game tonight, but it's the same old from him.
Have you noticed the similarities between the first and second unit?
Duncan/Tiago: 6'11'' bigmen, great pick and roll players, they also do well on the low block, great passers, intimidating presence on defense.
Diaw/Bonner: Bigmen that can shoot the three and are underrated low block defenders.
Leonard/Jack: SF that play big, solid on defense and on the boards. Streaky three point shooters but can take it to the rim.
Green/Manu: Both play balls to the wall when they're in and do a little bit of everything (blocks, steals, offensive rebounds, etc).
Parker/Neal/Mills: Score first PGs.
Other than giving up an and1 to a rook, what else he did?
I don't see any point in criticizing anything about this game. This is a glorified pick-up game and both teams are treating it as such.

Just play Mills at PG all game, let him get his fill of chucking.
Wasn't really talking about the game. I meant the way he handled those 2 laker games. And other big games that needed good D.

I understand what you're saying and really Bonner is the only one I was looking for to get himself going.
Doesn't really matter how everyone else plays, but Bonner needed to hit a few shots because he's been beyond horrid shooting the ball the last few weeks. He needed some shots to go in before the playoffs roll around to get some confidence.
He really is hitting bottom when it comes to his shooting.
