He'll get 6 games to build on for next year tbh.
How does Laker fan feel about this? The most important position needed in basketball has 0 playoff experience.
Please discuss.![]()

When was the last time a PG was important for LAL? Fisher provided some 3pt shooting and clutch/hustle plays mostly.
Fisher had Shaquille and Phil to bail him out...
Are either of them point guards?![]()
nobody said it was important, but if he can't handle the pressure then you have to turn to Blake.... lulz
Read OP
He's a 4th option at best. He just needs to control tempo and get the ball to KGB. Non-Issue tbh.
Another Lakers-obsessed grey Spurfan. Oops, redundant.
PG is the most important position in basketball
such great grey Spurfan basketball takes
Now we understand why Z-Bo and Marc bukkaked your guard-intrinsic lineup into submission last year.![]()

PG = most important position needed? that's a more interesting discussion.
did the Lakers get swept by a barrage of 3-pointers?
Probably started watching the Spurs during or after the 2007 championship, when they saw Tony Parker light up B-grade scrubs in the Finals, ignoring the fact that Tim Duncan deserved as much to be the Finals MVP.
I bet they didn't watch the 2007 playoffs, when Timmy D was their MVP.![]()
dey got swept because Chandler, Marion and Dirk () played like gods. Who of those guys is a point guard?
Oh and if you dare bring JJB into the discussion, sure, he was one of the reasons why LA got swept and won the le. But was he the one hitting clutch shot per clutch shot? Was he the one commanding double teams? Was he the one garnering special attention from defenses? No, he's a complimentary player who fit right in with Dallas' style and goals.
The triangle offense hides a PG really well. Potato heads offense not so much.![]()
Rondo was a barely known pg with 0 playoff experience when the Celtics won the NBA Championship with him as the starter. LOL "playoff experience". You're either good at jumping, passing, shooting, and rebounding or you aren't. Basketball isn't rocket science.

Let's be fair to Fish here... he had some major plays that were not 3 pointers in the Lakers' last two runs... I remember at least a couple of games he single-handedly won with clutch layups/flops.
I remember some one said the same sh!t about Gasol in 08, and look how that turned out over the next 3 years.
Fish provided 3pt shooting, hustle and clutch play. Those are things we will miss, but he's a defensive liability in a PG dominated era. He earned his 5, but he can only survive on LAL as a Horry type role player now. Wish we kept him
According to GNSF, Clippers vs Bulls in the finals since you have the 2 best PGs facing off. Suns WCF....oops
I'm not saying he was not done. But he wasn't just a 3pt shooter "treat", the dude came up big with plays when the proverbial hit the fan.
Nah, the question is how much production can you really get from him when the bright lights are on. It's a fair question because you already know Blake completely disappears when it matters.
Like I said, we will miss the clutch & hustle Fish gave.
I think OP GNSF was saying that Sessions is the most important player, individually and by position. Completely ignoring that a C/PF > PG/SG. Bynum & Gasol will really determine how well LAL fairs, everybody else represents the edge we will have. Tbh, OP is saying a lot of stupid stuff lately and going by trolling in a poor fashion.
