I think OP GNSF was saying that Sessions is the most important player, individually and by position. Completely ignoring that a C/PF > PG/SG. Bynum & Gasol will really determine how well LAL fairs, everybody else represents the edge we will have. Tbh, OP is saying a lot of stupid stuff lately and going by trolling in a poor fashion.
Well, yeah... I don't think it's the most important position, especially on a team like LA where the touches are extremely limited anyways.

But that actually makes every contribution from non-KGB more important, and the Lakers will have a PG out there with them... I do expect Blake to get more burn if Ramon doesn't step up though. Mike Brown seems more keen to play Blake due to the alleged floor spacing.

We currently have the best center in the post-season with D12 out and Gasol, if he shows up, is still one of the best PFs. Kobe, well, you never know what you get with him.

Sessions will likely get good minutes in the first round and when(if) we face OKC/Dallas then he might see less minutes if he hasn't produced around 15/8. I know that outside of our top 3 players, we need our 2nd string players to show up so we can keep Gasol/Bynum/Kobe fresh for a possibly 6/7 game series.

No, but to OP's point it didn't hurt them. They weren't winning a championship anyway. Sessions is not in that big a role that his lack of experience will mean anything...

Will the lack of experience for Spurs role players hurt them?..

When was the last time a PG was important for LAL? Fisher provided some 3pt shooting and clutch/hustle plays mostly.
tbh Fisher gave you a lot of leadership, though. Sessions is SEVERELY lacking in that category. Yeah, you have Kobe, but your PG needs to be a leader as well.

So what Ramon gives the Lakers won't matter because the Lakers aren't winning a championship anyways? I think you're onto something there.

It's the same question, and I think it's legitimate.

I agree, but at the same time, the only guys that have given you anything all season long outside your big 3 has been Sessions, MWP and Barnes. With Metta out for a while, I don't think they can afford Sessions to be a no-show.

Much of Fisher's leadership was by example, he made hustle and clutch plays when it was looking bad. These are things we will need from Kobe/Peace/Barnes as a collective now. The gap that Fisher's trade made can be filled, but requires our 3 hustle players to be on their game.

Sessions is still unproven, he has shown streaks of sheer brilliance, to say he is lacking would be premature until he's tested on the largest stage.

We can't afford any of our starters to be a no show, tbh. If LAL has hopes this playoffs, either everybody shows up or somebody plays out of their mind. The team doesn't have any flexibility as is, tremendous talent but unbalanced as a whole.

I don't see them winning a championship either but I wouldn't say Sessions would be the reason...

Jackson, Manu, Parker and Duncan if all healthy, have a chance. Experience won't hurt being that core is fine...

I agree that the lack of experience could be a problem but that won't be an issue until the later rounds of the playoffs. The Lakers are talented enough to handle Denver.

Don't worry LAL fans Sessons will not have the ball much Kobe going to gun and gun some more for better or for worse. LOL on him learning to feed the bigs while he was out.
