Lebron unclutch in that interview. No excuses this year or have you forgotten. Way to man up Wade, teach the baby.
I don't think it's a failure for any other team to not win it all this year, but for Miami it definitely would be. Their talent so completely outclasses any other team's that it's pretty disgraceful that they didn't just plow through the entire season like the 97 Bulls or 08 Celtics.
Yea there is.
The right answer is "yes."
His answer is very telling.
This just proves it more that Wade is the best player on that team. Dude's got balls.
For Miami? Yes. It would definitely be a failure.
This. Lebron had one of the all-time great statistical seasons, if he does not get how empty it would be to follow it up WITHOUT a ring, then he is just as clueless as he was the day of "The Decision". I dont care that Anthony sucks, or Turiaf is too smal or Miller is not what they had hoped...
Lebron is the most dominant player in the game, he needs to put this team on his back allow Wade and Bosh to play supporting roles and blow the hinges off the east and beat the west. Anything less is not just a failure ... but a huge blow to a legacy and eliminates what slim chances he has left of eclipsing MJ. I think he still has a a 5% shot, but not with comments or a mentality like that.
Whomever said he cant win, no matter what he said ...yes, you are right. Some haters would of bashed him, even if he said the le is the only way the season is a success, but old school NBA fans, the fomer stars and more importantly his team would understand how important he realizes this season is to his (and the Heatles) legacy. He needs to set the tone, not Wade, this team is his now ...
He's been failing for a long time now and he still isn't used to it?
Failure is a big word bro. It was a "disappointment".
Nope failure is the correct word. If Kentucky lost the le it would of ben a failure, same for Heat.
Pats losing SB was a disappointment, not a failure.
Thank goodness Dwyane Wade gets it. The number 1 goal is the NBA championship and if you don't win it you had a failed season. Not just the Heat, but for the other teams that didn't win it. Its amazing how some people just don't get it.
How was pats losing a disappointment? Because they were underdogs? Well if they were underdogs, wouldn't it have been a success that they made it to the SB in the first place, because apparently they weren't expected to win either way.
I think it's a failure for any team that loses in the championship game. The higher the stakes, the higher the scrutiny. If you're in the championship game you're a good enough team, and should take accountability.
How the has he still got a chance to eclipse MJ? This is Lebron's 9th season. MJ's first retirement came after 9 seasons and by that time he already had 3 rings. He came out of retirement to win 3 more. Altogether he played 14 seasons (I think) and unless Lebron starts winning this year and sixpeats I just don't see how.
lebron gave a humble answer![]()
Lebron is A-Rod.. Off the charts talent with a head full of crap..
Wade is Jeter- The less talented of the 2 but clutch and winning is everything..
It wasnt a failure because they made the SB with one of the worst defenses for a SB qualifier. When they were 18-0 and loss to NYG THAT was a failure.
Their answers are basically the same to the following question...
Do you want to take the game winning shot?
