I also think he can still play with the protected wristband, he'll still be better on D than Dejuan.
They showed the replay. It happened on a generic rebound scramble.
I don't like where Splitter was holding his wrist. It looked more like the bones in his wrist than his actual wrist![]()

He really could miss this whole series and we'd be fine..
was it his shooting hand?
yea but we need him beyond that. depending on the severity of the injury it could be really bad news. lets hope it isnt.
left wrist
always something with this guy
A wrist sprain to his off hand? It shouldn't be terribly long. While he's very valuable night in and night out, he's only truly necessary against LA and Memphis. And who knows, maybe the Clips knock of Memphis
The internets say it takes between two and TEN weeks to heal, depending on the severity.
Thank goodness it's his left.
I think we can make it this series without tiago but we will need him in the secound round.
IF it's just a sprain, i say he's back for Game 3 in Utah. If Blair plays well in Game 2, I can see Pop holding him out til the 2nd round.
Step off the ledge and enjoy the Game 1 win, spurfan.
I never saw him come back to the bench. That probably means X-rays or they took him straight for an MRI.
For those saying no big deal, if Splitter has a broken bone or a torn ligament, he's probably out for the playoffs, tbh.
Anytime Tiago's had an injury, he's never gone back to the bench, tbh.
Whether it be a broken wrist or an upset stomach![]()
Typical happenings from Auntie Splitter.
Oh come on... let's wait to hear what it is...
Splitter's a huge piece of the ass kicking we've laid on the league in the last 2 months. Need him. Can't have Blair going much or too much small ball with Jax at the 4.
Nice AV, .
I thought the official diagnosis was a sprain...
i was wondering why Jag was being a when i first read that post, thb.
Ah . If he's out for the Playoffs then we're pretty much ed.
I hope it's nothing -- and with Tiaglass Splitter, it's a possibility -- but I don't like the cir stances. He supposedly got hurt in a midair collision. How do you sprain your wrist in a midair collision? And where he was holding his wrist after the play looked more like bone than ligament/tendon area.
Hopefully I'm just paranoid and Splitter just has a low pain tolerance but that didn't look like any type of sprained wrist I've seen before . . .
