@utahjazz: RT @ESPNStatsInfo: The #Spurs scored 48 points from inside 5 feet in their win Sun, the most by any team in a game in the last 2 postseasons

That's what happens when the best pick-and-roll team in the league faces the third worst pick-and-roll team in the league in the playoffs, tbh.

Utah has size, no doubt... but none of their bigs are intimidating. If anything these 4-5 games will be a good warmup for the later rounds.

LAL Kryptonite, always has been...always will be.
It counters size as long as a defense is kept guessing.

One of the things I pointed out to SFIE was that all three bigs being on court together meant they would also not be on court together and the Spurs did have a couple of time they took advantage of this.

and if it weren't for the size and length of the Jazz blocking shots and hacking, it would have been 75 points in the paint.

Yes the Jazz have size - yes they have size (repeat 10 times) ..... maybe Corbin should just play an all big man lineup with no guards then suddenly the Spurs will surrender and cry wahwah like many of the posters on this forum

Yes there will be blocked shots, hacking, physicality whatever, but the main thing is the Spurs were able to adapt with Diaw (even when Splitter out) to mitigate much of that advantage and Duncan played well on both ends, so the size problem is reduced, and can wait to be addressed in the offseason.

The Spurs team was able to execute much more of their gameplan than the Jazz did, and that made the difference, along with Parker and Duncan's contributions. Good job Spurs, bad job detractors.

Having a plethora of big men also makes it that much easier to get mismatches on pick and rolls. Less speed on the court means the rotations are going to be that much slower when we get a switch.
