Still don't get why people compare Tim and kobe..two totally diffierent positions.
No, brother. In heaven. Where God answers all our prayers through Godvine.

I don't see him as better than Cap. Show me where I EVER said that. However comma - I vehemently believe he is better and has had a better career than Tim Duncan. Even without 5>4 tbh.
Truth. And if I truly responded how I felt about this debate up there, I'd get pinked.![]()
Well that fan list (Kobe better than all those guys) was the closest thing to a truth bomb Deuce dropped, and it was still dead wrong ... which were you propping him up for, the POTD vote?
![]()
Kobe 4th all Time..![]()
are you really using fan voting? and this really should be posted upstairs.
Rating them against each other would take the fun out of watching two top 10 all-time greats.
You may not know this but the poster known as Midnight_Pulp literally has OCD also known as Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. It's a neurological disorder that literally causes your brain to get stuck on the same thought in sort of an endless loop.
His particular mental disorder is that when he see's water or when it rains he thinks he's literally drowning...Last year in a post he admitted to calling 911 like 44 times in a month (or something close to that) because while standing on his front porch he literally thought he was drowning.
Now I say all that to say this...with this post you're going to cause him to go into some compulsive rage over PER....![]()
I see what you did there ...and you are right. He would have a CHANCE to surpass Kobe ... in fact he rings this year especially beating Miami with a STRONG performance ...doesnt have to be Finals MVP but as second best player on team third best in series I would push him back over Kobe.
Bean is good but Duncan has never missed the playoffs. Ever! Proof positive that he's more badass!
anyone using fan votes in a debate, needs to kill himself immediatelly!!
That's too easy. You should throw him in your gulag
Duncan with 4 rings > Kobe with 2 actual ones
Spurfan should recognize Kobe's contributions during the 3peat, specifically: http://www.basketball-reference.com/..._2001_WCF.html
ASG MVPs
It's not that much of a stretch to have him that high, although I would still go like this:
- He has more rings than Wilt. Will pass him in scoring.
- He has the same amount of rings as Magic. He has a chance for more.
- He is one behind MJ. Has a chance to catch and surpass him. If he does, ST will probably crash. Most non-Laker fan STers will be on suicide watch.
Kareem
MJ
Magic
Kobe
Russell
For the record, if he gets #6, he leap frogs Magic and MJ in my eyes. Why? Because his compe ion and the NBA rules he had to deal with were tougher than MJ. MJ's compe ion was Joe Dumars, Clyde the Glide, Dominique, Marjle and Reggie Miller. LeHype, Wade, and Durant are all better than those guys. Plus MJ never had to deal with zone defenses. But that's another argument altogether.
To pass Magic, he just needs one more ring IMO.
I'd put Shaq over Kobe, tbh. For half a decade, the most dominant player the NBA has ever seen.
If he was so great, how come Duncan never repeated as a champion? I'll wait...![]()
Die slowly
MJ didn't rely on being bailed out by whistles either
I wouldn't. Shaq didn't workout like he should have. He should be GOAT. Instead, when his health began to fail him, his game (and dominance) fell off a cliff.
Kobe, even in his 16th year, is still dominant. He still commands a double or triple team. He is still the engine that powers the Lakers. Shaq was awesome for about 7 years. Kobe's been awesome for at least 13 of his 16 years (the first two he really didn't play due to Del Harris' ineptness).
I hear you though.![]()
