Jazz sticking with Howard, despite Game 1 struggles
Despite a scoreless performance in Game 1, despite 16 mostly wasted minutes and despite his struggles, forward Josh Howard again will start for the Jazz in Game 2 of their first-round NBA playoff series against the Spurs on Wednesday night at San Antonio.
LOL I didnt' even know Howard played game 1
I wonder if Howard's teeth take up its own roster spot
lol he been sharing some of that weed with corbin
What choice do they have?
I don't know if the rumor was true but it's great that the Green for Howard trade didn't happen.
Oh noes!
And to think I once used to wish he was a Spur...
In fairness, Howard has been a problem for the Spurs in the past. Of course, this isn't the same Howard that caused problems in the past.
Jazz were playing really well with Demarre Carroll starting and Howard has been in a funk all season, but Corbin went back to Howard for his "playoff experience".
lol the Utah version of Richard Jefferson
Surprised Corbin would do this. Carroll and others can do a much better job than Howard. But hey, Corbin is the new Auerbach do who am I to argue.
Yeah, I was against it at the time but now it looks like an absolutely ridiculous trade rumor.
I'm sure Howard will come off the bench in Game 3.
Jazz would be starting C.J. Miles. I couldn't put my finger on who was missing from the first game.
Wow. Jazz fan must be pissed.
That's because the Spurs used to put Michael Finley on him.
Hollinger tweeted this too. They don't really have a better option.
Averaging 8pts a game, shoots 24% from 3...
The guy has scored 18 twice this season and 19 twice this season, all in Jazz losses... So basically he is a good garbage man.
I am not trying to help the Jazz win, but ANYONE would be a better starter. I guess this kind of shows why Corbin was not in the COTY discussions![]()
I'm sure the coach has his reasons.
Someone from Jazz forum
"Howard needs to retire at halftime, he's done"
