if shots aint falling for our shooters, hopefully they attack the rim and get to the ft line to get extra touches to warm up....KL and green better learn some from jax mix tape of the last game when shots aint falling, we cant afford to have both of them being passive on offense....
I'd love to see Green/Leonard have an impact on the game on the offensive end before they hit the road. Our bench was solid but overall I'm hoping for more production from those 2 as well as Manu.
Sig is hilarous Cherry!!!!
GO SPURS GO!!! I am curious to see what adjustments Utah will try to make.
Game 2 officials: Derrick Stafford (Crew Chief), Tony Brown, Bill Kennedy
Spurs are 9-5 since 1998 playoffs in games officiated by Derrick Stafford; 7-1 at home; 3-2 in the First Round; and 1-0 against Utah (the win was Game 3 of the WCSF in 1998). Since 2005, the Jazz are 2-1 in games officiated by Stafford -- they won Game 6 of their 2008 First Round series at Houston; they lost Game 1 of their 2009 First Round series at LA Lakers; they won Game 6 of their 2010 First Round series at home against Denver.
Tony Brown has never officiated a Spurs playoff game or a Jazz playoff game; this will be only his second playoff game ever -- he called Game 2 of the Miami/Philadelphia First Round series in 2011.
Spurs are 3-3 since 1998 playoffs in games officiated by Bill Kennedy; 2-1 at home; 2-1 in the First Round; he has not called a Spurs/Jazz playoff game. The Jazz are 2-1 since 2005 in games officiated by Kennedy; they won Game 4 of their First Round series in 2007 at home against Houston; they won Game 1 of their 2008 First Round Series at home against Houston; and they lost Game 4 of the 2010 WCSF at home against the Lakers.
Brian T. Smith @tribjazz
Jazz assistants spent end of practice discussing how to defend Parker, #Spurs near top of key in pick-and-roll. Utah will make adjustments.
--
Parker probably puts up more assists this game, Spurs still win, passing is too good on this team, even if the Jazz gameplan on stopping Parker.
Still cant believe the splitter situation. Hope Blair is jumping like its 2010.
Since OP forgot this :
Pop is gonna get his award tonight !!!

nicely done thks
Lets go Spurs!!! RIP Junior Seau!!
Man, why does it feel like the playoffs havn't started?
But i'm gonna get myself pumped up.
Woo! GO SPURS GO!! ahh much better
I have a class tonight from 7-10, so I'm going to record the game and watch it when I get home...which means I'll also have to avoid Spurstalk until I see the whole game. It'll be very tempting to check it, but I want to watch the game as if it's happening live - except better, because I can skip commercial breaks.
Also, I am visiting San Antonio from May 5-15, and I want to go to a game. The next possible game I can attend is either game 5 vs. Utah, or game 1 of round 2. So I'm hoping either a) we don't sweep Utah, or b) the Grizzlies-Clippers series doesn't go to game 7.
Spurs got this. Expecting Green, Leonard, and Manu to go off tonight.
hit the boards...hit the boards....hit the boards
Let's keep this train rolling...
That's the great thing about this team, on any given night anyone can go off even if other guys are struggling.
Not really considering the depth (though it is nice), just that all three sans Ginobili for some stretches never showed up. I think we're gonna see Green nail 4-5 3's, Leonard posterize someone, and Manu storm to the rim when Parker inevitably starts getting smacked around.
Is Tiago confirmed out?
OP
Can you update your post with that pic ?
It's Pop's night for sake![]()
